FORCEAPP BV, a member of Aratos Group, participated in the Information Day and Networking Event for potential applicants to the European Defence Fund (EDF) 2022 calls for proposals, organized by the European Commission. The event was held in Brussels, Belgium, on 30 June and 1 July 2022. Dr Nikos Bogonikolos, Director of ForceApp, presented our proposal entitled "European defence federate simulation platform".

The hereby proposed idea is about a federation of existing naval warfare simulations in EU Member States with an inter-cooperation target using enhanced Augmented Reality and Artificial Intelligence techniques. We envision a federated simulator that will create a VR environment to exercise and simulate naval warfare tactical scenarios.
